The International Surface Fabricators Association (ISFA) strictly complies with all federal and state antitrust laws. All ISFA meetings and events are conducted for legitimate business purposes that advance the countertop and surfacing fabrication industry and serve our industry’s collective interests. Discussions or actions that could be construed as anti-competitive are strictly prohibited.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Prices, pricing methods, or discounts.
• Terms or conditions of sale.
• Boycotts or refusals to deal with any company or supplier.
• Allocation of customers, markets, or territories.
• Any other topics that could restrain trade or reduce competition.

Standards, certification, and training. Where ISFA develops or discusses safety standards, certifications, credentials, or training programs, participation is open to all qualified industry participants; eligibility and criteria are objective and based solely on legitimate safety, quality, and professional considerations; and no standard, credential, or program will be used to exclude, disadvantage, or coordinate action against any competitor.

Legislative and regulatory advocacy. ISFA’s advocacy for legislation or regulation, including occupational safety measures and any licensing of fabrication shops, is the lawful petitioning of government, conducted openly and on the public record, and is directed at public authorities rather than at private agreement among competitors.

If any discussion begins to move into a prohibited area, all participants are required to immediately stop or call attention to the concern. ISFA encourages open, honest, and lawful collaboration to improve safety, education, standards, and professionalism within the countertop and surfacing industry.
